1 Vaccinations & microchip.
2 Import Permit
3 Book flight
4 Flight
5 Veterinarian check at arrival
1. Vaccinations & microchip
The vaccinations that are required:
*Rabies
*Feline rhinotracheitis
*Calicivirus and
*Panleukopnia (Vacination Name Tri-cat, Feligen, Feval5, and Fel-O-Vax)
The vaccination card must also have the cats microchip number.
*Make sure that the vaccination card also state the last day the vaccination is valid to.
Doubble check that the vaccinations are done as per U.A.E requirements. The vet told me that some countries do them to early and the cats have to turn back.
2 After the vaccination is done, you need to get an import permit.
A UAE import permit is required. This is valid for 30 days only.
OBS you can only apply for the import permit online after the cat is 4calendar months.

Cost 200AED
Your cat has to be over 4 calendar months and have a rabies vaccine that is at least 21days old.
So 16 weeks is not enough, you must count by the actual calendar months. ( to be confirmed)
3 Book Flight
Book your cat before you book yourself so that you do not have to rebook your flight and pay extra money for it. (It is free to rebook your cat).
All pets must arrive as cargo, but with emirates airline they can travel on the same plane as you do.
I called Trust Forwarding (+45 32 32 44 88) in Copenhagen to book my cat on the same plane.
(It does not matter in price if you are flying with the cat or not it is the same expense.)
4 Flight
A Health Certificate with a stamp from the country of origin government
veterinarian is required before the flight, One health certificate per cat. (not older than 24 hours before shipment for Sweden).
I got my stamp from Flyinge veterinary station.
You have to go to 2 separate places in Copenhagen to get your paperwork for the trip.
1) Kystvejen 40 2770 Kastrup pretty close from the airport, but you have to take a cab. They will inspect so that the box is big enough and give you the Air Way bill to take to the cargo section.
2) Peterdalsvej 1, the cargo section will inspect the paperwork and you will hand over the cats to them.
Make sure to have plenty of time if you have a plane to catch go earlier than they require the cats to be there.
5 Arrival
Dubai airport has 24 hour veterinarian available, so it does not matter at what time you arrive.
You have to go to Skycargo centre in cargo village to be able to collect your cats.
Here you have to pay a handling fee, I paid AED120 and a custom fee AED30 make sure to have cash.
You will then go to the veterinary office in the same building and they will inspect the all the papers for the cats and make sure the cats are healthy. I also had to pay AED200 at the veterinarian office per cat this could only be done by card.
Have a copy of everything with you just in case. My import permit was traveling with the cats and this took a while to sort out.
Then you have to go to the pick up place to actually get your cats.
(This whole process takes time! Be patient)
It is not to hard to do your self but there is a lot to keep in mind.
