To get the right information regarding importing your cat to Dubai

Frustrated!

I called Emirates in Dubai asking maybe  one month ago regarding how to import a cat to Dubai.
I got the answer the cat has to travel as cargo. OK
He also told me that I had to book my flight ticket first to be able to transport my cat. OK
I have also red on the webpage about the prices if you have your plane ticket and want to transport your cat as companioned cargo. This was going to be the cheapest option.

So I booked my plane ticket and called Emirates in the country that I am traveling from, Now I got the answer that they do not handle this!
I have to call another transporting company and they Charge 3 times as much than I was expecting! And it does not matter that I have a plane ticket.

So I have booked a plane ticket that I did not really need. :(
But I want to go home to see my family so I will change the dates for a smaller fee.

Also I had planned for my sister to bring my second girl here and pay her ticket as that would be less expensive than shipping the cat as unaccompanied cargo.
But now this is way more expensive. So I have to change my planes.

It is a bit of a headache to understand the system sometimes.

Puh..
